*Oregon mails a ballot to every registered voter. To be included in the UOCAVA mailing, please make sure you are registered at least 50 days before the election. For those registering after the 50th day before the election, a ballot will automatically be mailed to you upon acceptance of the new registration. If there is not enough time for mail delivery you can download your ballot at oregonvotes.gov/myballot and return via email.

**Ballot Return: Ballots must be postmarked by the United States Postal Service and be received by the 7th day after the election. If a ballot is received by the county elections official no later than 7 calendar days after election day with no USPS postmark, or if the postmark is missing or a non-USPS indicator is present, election officials may accept and count the ballot if they can verify the date of mailing through available USPS tools, or if a signed declaration on the ballot return envelope indicates the date of mailing.

Please mail your voting materials early enough to account for mail delivery times. Check the recommended mailing dates section in Chapter 1 for details.
