April 1 - ALEXANDRIA, Va. - The State of Nebraska will hold its primary election on May 13. If you are a Nebraska resident living outside your voting jurisdiction and wish to vote in the primary, you must register by mail on or before April 25 or in-person on or before May 2.

You may register to vote absentee using the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) at If you complete and return this form, Nebraska will register you as an absentee voter and send you your ballot for any elections this year.

If you are already registered in Nebraska, you must request your ballot by May 7, if you want to vote in the primary. You may request a ballot by using the FPCA.
