The Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP) has created a template for the security envelope for the Online Version of the Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot (OFWAB). This envelope should be used to protect the secrecy of your voted ballot.
The security envelope template is 6 by 3 inches in size (152.4 x 76.2 mm) and must be printed in landscape mode. It will print properly on a United States Postal Service (USPS) standard number 10 envelope (9 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches) or an International Standards Organization (ISO) standard C6 envelope (114 × 162 mm). It can also be printed on a plain piece of paper and attached to an envelope. The template is in two formats: Rich-Text and Adobe Acrobat Version 7.
NOTE to Adobe Acrobat users: To use this file, you must have an Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 7 program. If you do not have this version of Acrobat Reader loaded on your computer, you can download it free from Adobe's web site:
www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html. Please save the Adobe Acrobat file to your own computer before printing. The web browser default page size is 8 1/2 x 11 inches which is much larger than the envelopes listed above. When trying to print directly from the web browser only part of the template will print on the envelope. If your printer has an option to turn off page scaling, you might be able to print this file from the browser.

If you do not have a return envelope from your Local Election Official or you are sending in the Online Version of the Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot (OFWAB), print off the postage paid envelope at www.fvap.gov/pubs/returnenvelope.html.
