General Research Reports
FVAP works to ensure Uniformed Services personnel and overseas citizen voters know how to vote absentee, and have the tools and resources necessary to do so - from anywhere in the world. To do this, FVAP performs research beyond Reports to Congress to identify and address barriers to voting and test the feasibility of technology solutions. Available Reports include:
Operation Vote Report
As part of a broad initiative to evaluate potential systems for remote voting electronic pilot projects, FVAP coordinated with the Office of Wounded Warrior Care and Transition Policy, and the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) to address the voting-related needs of Wounded Warriors by assessing the usability, accessibility, and privacy of electronic voting systems.
Secretaries of State Midde East Trip Reports
Five State Chief Election Officers traveled to Southwest Asia in the run up to the November General Election to observe election preparedness and witness firsthand the unique challenges faced by military personnel and overseas citizens; FVAP hosted a similar trip in 2008.
