FVAP works to ensure Uniformed Services personnel and overseas citizen voters know how to vote absentee, and have the tools and resources necessary to do so  -  from anywhere in the world. To do this, we perform research beyond our mandated Reports to Congress to identify and address barriers to voting and test the feasibility of technology solutions. Available reports include:

A Model for Developing Estimates of U.S. Citizens Abroad: Final Technical Report

This report provides a new model for developing estimates of U.S. citizens living abroad. It furthers FVAP's longstanding research effort to quantify the difficult-to-reach population in order to more effectively and efficiently target its voter assistance outreach for Americans living overseas.

 

Operation Vote Report

As part of a broad initiative to evaluate potential systems for remote voting electronic pilot projects, FVAP coordinated with the Office of Wounded Warrior Care and Transition Policy, and the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) to address the voting-related needs of Wounded Warriors by assessing the usability, accessibility, and privacy of electronic voting systems.
