Correction to FVAP Voter Alert for Nevada Residents

CORRECTION TO FVAP VOTER ALERT FOR NEVADA RESIDENTS - THE CORRECT DEADLINE FOR REGISTERING TO VOTE FOR THE JUNE 10 NEVADA PRIMARY IS TOMORROW, MAY 10

May 9 - ALEXANDRIA, Va. - The State of Nevada will hold its primary election on June 10. If you are a Nevada resident and want to vote in the primary, you must be registered by May 10. To register to vote absentee, use the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) available at FVAP.gov. You must email or fax your completed FPCA to your county clerk by May 10. Mailed FPCAs must be postmarked by May 10. By successfully submitting your FPCA according to these deadlines, you will be registered to vote and will receive an absentee ballot for all elections held this year.

If you are already registered in Nevada, you must request your ballot by June 3 if you want to vote in the primary. You can request an absentee ballot using the FPCA available at FVAP.gov.

Detailed information is available at fvap.gov/nevada. If you are registered and do not receive your absentee ballot by May 11, use the Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot (FWAB) to vote. The form is also available at fvap.gov/nevada.
