IOWA PRIMARY ELECTION ON JUNE 3

April 22 - ALEXANDRIA, Va. - The State of Iowa will hold its primary election on June 3. If you are an Iowa resident living outside your voting jurisdiction and wish to vote in the primary there is no registration deadline, but you must request to receive your absentee ballot.

You may request your absentee ballot by completing, signing and sending the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) found at FVAP.gov to your local election official. If you would like to receive your ballot by mail your request must be received by your local election official by 5pm May 30. If you would like to receive your ballot by email or fax your request must be received by your local election official by 5pm June 2.

Your local election official will send you ballots for all elections this year.

Detailed information is available at fvap.gov/iowa, along with the FPCA. If you do not receive your absentee ballot by May 4, use the Federal Write-In Ballot (FWAB) to vote. The FWAB is also available at fvap.gov/iowa.
